Third Grade Full Set

Quantity of Titles Per Set (40 Titles) A set of 40 titles of highly curated read alouds including nonfiction, authentic voices and diverse characters.  This third grade set features folktales and fables from Japan, France, Nigeria and Brazil.  A handful of books talk about children living in poverty both in the United States and abroad to help students empathize and reach out. Biographies highlight the incredible lives of women and men of color.  The informational selection presents heritage from Spanish-speaking countries, and raises environmental awareness. From our Lead Curator, Marie: I see third grade as the perfect time to open students' minds to the world and global issues.  This selection showcases the cultures from Spanish-speaking countries, as well as many far away places.  Our nonfiction selection will develop curiosity and critical thinking about contemporary issues such as mental health, poverty, discrimination and environmental protection.   Titles may change based on availability
