Spalted Maple Pedestal

Spalted Maple Serving Pedestal Elevated by Nature, Grounded in Craft This is more than a serving piece—it’s a conversation starter. Handcrafted from richly figured spalted maple, this pedestal balances organic imperfection with thoughtful design. A natural crack is preserved and reinforced with a decorative bow tie inlay—celebrating the wood’s wildness rather than hiding it. Three hand-turned feet lift the piece with quiet elegance, giving your offerings—culinary or otherwise—a stage worthy of their presence. Whether you’re styling a table, displaying objects, or serving something unforgettable, this pedestal is a sculptural foundation with soul.  Actively cutting on the object is not recommended.   Details: Solid spalted maple with live grain patterning Hand-turned maple  Decorative bow tie inlay (wood species may vary) Food-safe oil + wax finish Approx. 10”–14” diameter, 4-6” height One-of-a-kind — no two alike Handmade in small studio batches Because utility deserves artistry.
