SpaGuard Total Alkalinity Increaser | Spa Balancer

SpaGuard Total Alkalinity Increaser is a concentrated granular product that raises low total alkalinity in spa and hot tub water. Total alkalinity is the unsung hero of balanced water — it's the buffer that keeps your pH steady. When alkalinity is too low, pH becomes unstable and starts swinging unpredictably with every chemical addition and every soak. That swing has a name: pH bounce, and it's one of the most common sources of water-care frustration. Raising total alkalinity into the proper range fixes that at the foundation. With alkalinity in range, pH holds where you set it, your sanitizer works more effectively, and the water stays comfortable on skin and eyes. Just as important, proper alkalinity protects your investment: low-alkalinity water turns corrosive, which can stain, etch, and distort spa surfaces and damage metal equipment over time. The concentrated granular formula raises alkalinity efficiently while allowing gradual, controlled water balancing — and because it nudges pH in the same direction, it helps stabilize both numbers at once. It works with every common sanitizing system. Pro Tip: Balance alkalinity before pH, not after. Total alkalinity is the buffer that holds pH in place, so getting it into range first makes your pH far easier to set and keep steady. Trying to dial in pH while alkalinity is still low is what causes the endless "pH bounce" chase. Brand SpaGuard®
