SpaGuard pH Increaser | Raises Spa pH & Alkalinity

SpaGuard pH Increaser is a simple granular product that raises low pH and total alkalinity in spa and hot tub water. When your pH drifts too low, the water turns acidic — and acidic water quietly works against you, corroding metal equipment, stinging eyes and skin, and throwing off how your sanitizer performs. pH Increaser brings the water back into its proper range so everything else works the way it should. pH is one of the most important numbers in spa care, and also one of the most active — it moves constantly as bathers get in and out, as you add other chemicals, and as the water heats and aerates. Total alkalinity is its partner: it acts as a buffer that keeps pH from swinging wildly. When both are in range, your sanitizer is more effective, the water feels comfortable, and your spa's heater, pump, and seals are protected from acidic wear. Made from sodium bicarbonate, pH Increaser dissolves quickly, requires no premixing, and works with every common sanitizing system. It's a foundational part of balanced water — the step that makes your sanitizer and shock do their jobs. Pro Tip: Always balance total alkalinity first, then pH. Because alkalinity buffers pH, getting it into range (typically 80–120 ppm) makes your pH far easier to hold steady — and since pH Increaser is sodium bicarbonate, it nudges both upward at once, which is exactly what you want when your numbers are running low.
