SPADE

Spade by Faye Toogood for Please Wait to be Seated is an ode to the rural life in the English countryside in which the designer grew up and had her first encounters with shapes and colors of the natural world. The inspiration of the chair comes from a crossover between the traditional milking stool and the handle of a spade. A strong icon with references to both the past, present, and future.
