Accutron 18 Karat Gold Electrostatic Mens Watch 2ES6A004

With the Spaceview 2020, time has just changed — again. This luxury watch for men re-imagines what a timepiece can be with the proprietary electrostatic movement, unique to the Accutron line, an intricately engineered motor and turbine system that generates power. This is a men’s watch that is designed to be as individual as you are. Limited release. MOVEMENT Accutron's Proprietary Electrostatic Movement. The electrostatic energy is created by twin turbines that rotate as a result of human motion at incredible speeds between two electrodes affixed to the movement. The energy, stored in an accumulator, powers two motors; a world’s first electrostatic motor fueling the fluid second hand and a step motor powering the hour and minute hands. Power saving function: To ensure power saving, the second hand automatically stops at 12 o'clock after 5 minutes of non activity. Your timepiece continues to keep time, the hour hand and the minute hand keep moving. When you would like to see the second hand's motion, please swing arm fully up and down for 3 to 5 seconds. Once powered, the second hand gradually returns to the current second indication and the power save function is canceled. WATCH DIAL Smoke grey open-work dial with signature Accutron green accents and transparent outer ring. Light green super luminous markers, white hour and minute hands and orange second hand. WATCH CASE Stainless steel case and bezel with stamped Accutron logo and turbine design on the case back.
