Space City Twilly Scarf

Space City Twilly Scarf A follow-up to our Space City Saturday Scarf, this twilly exemplifies the city of Houston in every way. You won't be able to miss the active astronaut illustration with its rocket and space shuttle, almost as if its preparing for another lunar landing. We've also some specialty florals seen throughout Houston neighborhoods and country- bluebonnets and azaleas- as well as an armadillo, an animal that is often spied along the Bayou or in yards late at night. To round it all out, this twilly even includes an illustration of the Astrodome, a Houston landmark turned folklore. Wear this twilly around town to Art Car parades, while sippin' drinks in The Heights, or to support our favorite local Blue & Orange baseball team! 100% silk 2in x 36in Double-sided: our jumbled Space City print with our sporty star stripe print Perfect to wear in your hair, around your wrist, or wrapped around a purse strap Designed in Houston, Texas This pattern is copyrighted and property of Saturday Silks LLC.   How to care for your silk scarves: One thing that everyone should do once they get their scarf is give it a good steam or iron. Our scarves go through a lot to get to you and can come with some pretty deep creases in them. You can easily get those out with a steamer or by pressing with a low heat iron low on the backside of the scarf.  If you spill something on your scarf or wear it out on a hot day, do NOT put your scarf in the washing machine or dryer. Even on the gentle cycle, the silk can get damaged and is susceptible to shrinkage which will warp the design. DO get your scarf dry cleaned. This is the best method to properly clean fine silk. If hand washed, even in cold water, our rich and vibrant colors may bleed!
