SpaGuard Spa Phosphate Remover | Spa Phosphates

SpaGuard Spa Phosphate Remover is a fast-acting liquid that immediately reduces high phosphate levels in spa and hot tub water. Phosphates are an invisible problem — you can't see or feel them — but at high levels they cause real trouble, the biggest being calcium phosphate scale that builds up on your equipment and surfaces. This product keeps phosphates in check so that scale never gets the chance to form. Where do phosphates come from? They sneak in through fill water, lawn and garden runoff, and many common spa products and cleaners. As they accumulate, they create conditions for scale and can interfere with how well the rest of your water care performs. By stripping phosphates back down to a safe level, Phosphate Remover protects your spa's equipment from calcium phosphate buildup and helps your overall water care work the way it should. It's a simple weekly addition — and an effective spot treatment when a test shows phosphates have climbed too high. Recommended phosphate levels in a spa are below 125 ppb. Pro Tip: Don't be alarmed if the water turns cloudy after dosing — that's the product working, binding phosphates into particles your filter can remove. Following up with SpaGuard Water Clarifier and running the filter clears it quickly. Brand SpaGuard®
