SP Dynamo Hub PD-8X, thru-axle, disc

Lightweight Thru-Axle Dynamo Hub for Disc Brakes The new SP PD-8X sets an entirely new standard for hub dynamos. It is more efficient, technologically advanced, and simpler than competing hub dynamos while also being 40 grams lighter in weight than any QR15 hub dynamo available. The PD-8X combines cutting-edge generator technology with a mechanically simple design that delivers reliable power generation for dynamo lighting and USB charging systems on modern disc brake bikes. Shutter Precision Dynamo Hubs are lightweight, efficient, and look great. Designed for reliability in extreme weather conditions, the SP Dynamo Hubs are perfect for year-round commuters and adventure cyclists. The PD-8X features a 15mm thru-axle design with ISO 6-bolt disc brake mounting and 100mm spacing, making it compatible with modern road, gravel, and touring bikes. The hub's innovative generator mechanism uses a solid high-specification magnetic ring that rotates around copper coils, eliminating the bonding adhesive failures common in other hub dynamos. Engineered for Performance 6V/3W power output for dynamo lighting and USB charging systems. 15mm thru-axle design for modern disc brake bikes. ISO 6-bolt disc brake mount for wide brake compatibility. 100mm front hub spacing for standard forks. 40 grams lighter than competing QR15 hub dynamos. More efficient and technologically advanced than traditional hub dynamos. Mechanically simpler design with fewer parts for increased reliability.
