Southern Star Bottled In Bond Rye

Experience a masterclass in North Carolina distillation with Southern Star Bottled-In-Bond Straight Rye Whiskey. Crafted with intention and purpose by Southern Distilling Company in Statesville, NC, this highly anticipated release balances the bold, assertive spice of traditional rye grain with a remarkably smooth and confectionary sweetness. Whether you are a dedicated rye enthusiast or a bourbon drinker looking to explore a spicier profile, this beautifully structured whiskey is a standout addition to any collection at Nestor Liquor. To earn the prestigious "Bottled-in-Bond" designation, this whiskey was distilled at a single distillery in a single season, aged for a full four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at exactly 100 Proof (50% ABV). Crafted from a uniquely balanced mash bill of 51% rye, 39% corn, and 10% malted barley, the heavy corn content provides a rich, creamy texture that perfectly complements the lively pepper and herbal notes of the rye backbone.
