Sound

8x8 inch original oil painting on 1” deep cradled birch wood Painting comes framed in a maple wood float frame, wired and ready to hang My goal with this painting was to capture that feeling of a foggy ocean, when the saturation is seemingly reduced to just two tones. When the sun is somehow still shining on the surface while the air around is encased in fog. This painting brings the beautiful energy of the ocean to your space--trusting, going with the flow, and knowing that all is well I paint in oils because oil paints are made of natural earth materials and do not introduce new microplastics into circulation. The grounded and clear energy of the natural earth materials shows through in oil paintings.
