Soul Tree II

In Soul Tree II, Andrius Miezis continues and transforms the vision first introduced in Soul Tree I. While the earlier work grounded the viewer in a figurative world - a human-tree hybrid standing as a vessel of growth and light - Soul Tree II dissolves that form into pure abstraction, where the soul’s structure becomes rhythm, pattern, and motion. Here, Miezis constructs a universe of interwoven organic and geometric elements: swirling membranes, floating eyes, pulsating nodes, and connective pathways. The palette shifts toward cooler blues and greens, layered with warm ochres and neutrals, creating a sense of both harmony and tension. This visual symphony suggests that consciousness, once rooted, now expands beyond form - the inner energy of Soul Tree I having evolved into a living network of perception itself. Soul Tree II completes the cycle begun in Soul Tree I, reflecting Miezis’s meditation on transformation. Together, they trace a spiritual progression - from embodiment to dissolution, from rooted existence to boundless awareness - revealing that the soul, like nature, endlessly reshapes itself through imagination and time.
