Soul Mending: the Art of Spiritual Direction

Examines themes of spiritual direction and pastoral care, including ministry and brokenness, the role of the spiritual director, including the topic of obedience, the misuse of spiritual authority, and child abuse. In the essays, the author courageously challenges the Church to face these issues, honestly and sensitively, with faithfulness to the orthodox patristic tradition while embracing and engaging modern thinking on the topics.
