Soul Life

Your soul is an inner universe: vast, mysterious, powerful. Yet no aspect of the psyche is more neglected than the soul. Distinguished scholar, teacher, and theologian Thomas Moore leads us to the furthest reaches of this complex realm on Soul Life. From the ashes of the Renaissance, Moore has revived the concept of the soul, and studied its intricacies. Now he shares with us a series of ideas that can deepen our everyday experience—even life's most routine tasks—with the exquisite sacredness that is the soul's special gift. Thomas Moore describes this work as a “retreat,” in the tradition of monastic learning. Six contemplative sessions help us focus on the defining areas of our life: work, family, art and creativity, spirituality, and more. Soul Life is for all listeners who seek to know the soul and its mysteries, while reaping the blessings of a deeper, more spiritual life.
