Sotar Blackfoot Strike Fishing Raft (13'6")

Our Best-Selling Model. Trusted by Guides. Built for Everything. The 13'6" Blackfoot Strike is the core of the Strike lineup—our top-selling raft and the go-to choice for professional guides and dedicated anglers across the West. Designed to strike the perfect balance between capacity, maneuverability, and versatility, this boat is just as comfortable floating big western rivers as it is threading through tight, technical side channels. From day trips to overnight camp floats, whitewater to low water, this is the one raft that does it all—and does it well. If you're looking for a boat to row day-in, day-out with maximum efficiency and reliability, the 13'6" Strike is your answer. Designed by Guides. Enjoyed by All. Designed by Blackfoot River Outfitters founder John Herzer and hand-built in the USA by SOTAR, the Strike draws on over 30 years of hard-earned guiding experience. The 13'6" version is the same boat John runs over 150 days a year, and it’s earned its reputation as one of the most capable and efficient fishing rafts on the water. The layout provides ample space between anglers and rower, eliminating tangle zones and improving safety and comfort for everyone on board. Whether you're guiding clients or floating with friends, it’s the right mix of form, function, and fishability. Low Profile. High Versatility. The low-profile, asymmetrical tube design gives the 13'6" Strike unmatched handling and visibility without compromising stability or storage: Diminishing bow maximizes internal space without sacrificing maneuverability Less than 7 feet of tube on the water and a maximum 19″ tube diameter allow for a shallow draft and responsive tracking Larger stern adds flotation and stability for a rear angler or overnight gear Flat, aerodynamic profile improves wind performance and offers 360-degree visibility for both anglers and rower Excels in tight, technical water and remains stable through whitewater and heavy current Durability That Works as Hard as You Do SOTAR rafts are constructed using Rezcoat—a proprietary 40 oz., 100% urethane material with a 1500 denier base fabric, offering the highest abrasion and puncture resistance in the industry. Add in welded seams, multi-chamber construction, and a legacy of proven durability, and you’ve got a raft that’s built for real-world abuse and multi-season reliability. Ideal For: Guides and serious anglers who need a reliable all-around boat Day floats, overnight trips, and multi-day camping missions Big rivers, pocket water, and everything in between Anyone who wants one boat that does it all—and does it better Key Features: 10-Year Warranty from Sotar Four Air Chambers in the main tube for built-in redundancy Self-Bailing Welded I-Beam Floor – Durable, inflated, and responsive underfoot 6 Carry Handles / D-Rings for easy transport and rigging 4 Exterior D-Rings for frame and gear tie-downs Patch Kit & Boat Bag included The 13'6" Strike is the workhorse of the fleet—shallow as a drift boat, nimble as a kayak, and tough as they come.
