SOS

The SOS Siren Operated Sensor opens gates for fire, police and EMS vehicles using the siren yelp. It responds to the yelp in about 2.5 seconds (any siren in about 4.5 seconds). It is hands-free with no codes or keys. A reminder decal on the gate tells responders to hold the siren on. The SOS runs on 12-24 VAC or VDC. It uses an omni-directional microphone, so no alignment is needed. Siren sensitivity is adjustable to suit the distance from the gate to the road, so passing emergency vehicles do not open the gate. The relay output is momentary or a 15 minute hold. The sealed enclosure is 3 x 6 x 2 in. Before You Order Wire the SOS output to the gate operator's open input. Set the sensitivity after install so road traffic does not trigger the gate. Check local fire department requirements for emergency gate access.
