Sora Dora Raphael

Sora Dora | Raphael| Extrait de Parfum Raphael was a coal miner. His body bore the marks of his work. His laughter remained unchanged. He carried within him that rare quality: a simple, beautiful, indestructible joy. Its fragrance is built around quiet, discreet notes: those that linger on the skin like a cherished thought. In the early morning, the violet-fragile and powdery-evokes its tenderness. In the afternoon, the iris - deep and earthy-recalls its origins. At sunset, the musk-warm and enveloping, finally hints at its presence. This scent isn't tied to any specific moment, since it permeates her entire life, her mornings at work, her unexpected encounters. And then her love, her memories... Some fragrances tell a story; Raphael tells a life story. A life beautiful in its struggles, a life beautiful in its brilliance. It is the invisible yet indelible trace of a soul that continues to walk with us. The scent of a man who buried his own life so that his loved ones might live in the light of day, bathed in gold. To all your lives, may you always look your best. Top Notes: Cardamom Essence Pink Pepper Extract Rhubarb Middle Notes: Nutmeg Essence Magnolia Honeysuckle Iris Violet Base notes: Haitian Vetiver Essence Vanilla White Musks Atlas and Virginia Cedarwood Cashmeran Patchouli Essence Ambroxan Common Questions What are the notes in Sora Dora Raphael? Spiced and warm with a bright opening. Cardamom, pink pepper and rhubarb start it, nutmeg, magnolia, honeysuckle, iris and powdery violet fill the middle, and it rests on Haitian vetiver, vanilla, white musks, Atlas and Virginia cedarwood, cashmeran, ambroxan and patchouli. An extrait de parfum by perfumer Margaux Le Paih Guérin, so the drydown is where it lives. Is Raphael masculine or feminine? Unisex. The cardamom-vetiver-cedar spine reads traditionally masculine, the iris, violet and magnolia soften it considerably, and the result does not sit firmly on either side. When should I wear it? Autumn and winter suit the spice and wood best, though the rhubarb and pink pepper opening keeps it wearable on cooler spring days. It is a considered fragrance rather than a casual one. Is it worth buying blind? At extrait concentration and 50mL, we would sample first. Iris in particular divides people, and it is prominent here. Where can I buy it? Here, or in person at our counter in West Hartford, Connecticut. If you have not tried it, start with the 1.5mL sample before the full bottle. More from Sora Dora: Jany, Mandorle and Mallow.
