Sophie Rug

Inspired by vintage rugs, the Sophie Rug recreates a vintage aesthetic and variable-pile texture using a new craft process that was invented specifically for this rug, a process that took over two years to complete. Motifs in Sophie are woven with individual threads to create the intricate design, including white cotton threads that mimic a vintage rug's authentic wear patterns. The result is a stunning area rug with an uncanny resemblance to an antique textile. Sophie is made in Egypt of polypropylene, polyester, and wool for thicker, variable texture and soft blended pile. This collection is OEKO-TEX certified, ensuring its materials don't contain harmful substances. Colors: Sage/Navy 90% Bi-Constituent Fiber (90% Polypropylene | 10% Polyester), 10% Wool Pile Power Loomed Latex Backing Pile Height: 0.125" Care Instructions: Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean, white dry sponge or cloth. Professional cleaning recommended. Appropriate rug pad is highly recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushion, and improve durability. For vacuuming, use a vacuum cleaner without beater bar or one where you can set the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Vacuum full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion.
