Sony XLR-H2 XLR Handle Unit

Professional Audio That Keeps Up With Every Shoot The Sony XLR-H2 XLR Handle Unit transforms the Sony FX5 into a complete professional audio solution, making it easy to capture clean, detailed sound directly in-camera. Designed to mount seamlessly to the camera's Multi Interface (MI) Shoe, it creates a cable-free, battery-free connection that simplifies your setup while delivering the performance expected from professional productions. Whether you're filming interviews, documentaries, live events, or cinematic projects, the XLR-H2 provides dependable, high-resolution audio that complements every frame. Capture Every Detail with Greater Confidence Supporting 96 kHz recording and advanced 32-bit float audio, the XLR-H2 preserves everything from the quietest dialogue to sudden peaks without sacrificing detail. Its wide dynamic range dramatically reduces the risk of clipped recordings and minimizes the need for constant gain adjustments while shooting. The result is cleaner recordings that offer significantly more flexibility when editing, allowing creators to spend less time correcting audio and more time refining their final production. Built for Flexible Multi-Microphone Workflows Whether you're recording multiple speakers, ambient sound, or a combination of wireless and shotgun microphones, the XLR-H2 is ready for demanding productions. Four-channel audio recording allows multiple sources to be captured simultaneously on independent tracks, while flexible channel assignment and safety recording options provide additional security for critical moments. Dual analog-to-digital converters further enhance performance by accurately capturing both subtle and powerful sound sources with exceptional clarity. Designed for Comfortable, Efficient Production Beyond audio performance, the XLR-H2 also improves the overall shooting experience. The ergonomic handle provides a secure grip for handheld operation and makes low-angle shooting more comfortable. Multiple anti-rotation mounting points allow monitors, wireless receivers, lights, and other accessories to be attached with confidence, helping creators build a streamlined rig that adapts easily to changing production needs. Fast, Intuitive Control on Set Every control has been positioned for quick access while filming. Dedicated switches for attenuation and low-cut filtering, manual gain controls, and highly visible overload indicators make it easy to monitor and adjust audio without interrupting the shoot. The thoughtful layout helps operators react quickly to changing environments while maintaining consistent, professional-quality sound.
