Sony ECM-W3 2-Person Wireless Microphone System with Multi Interface Shoe

Sony ECM-W3 2-Person Wireless Microphone System with Multi Interface Shoe Introducing the Sony ECM-W3, a cutting-edge wireless microphone system that revolutionizes audio recording. This system includes two microphone-transmitters equipped with high signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio microphone units and a dual-channel receiver. All audio is processed digitally and transmitted wirelessly, enabling you to capture the voices of two speakers with exceptional precision. Premium Digital Sound Recording The ECM-W3 features microphone-transmitters with high S/N ratio microphone units, ensuring pristine voice recording with minimal interference from background noise. Top-Quality Dual-Channel Digital Transmission When you connect the dual-channel receiver to a compatible Sony camera with Multi Interface (MI) Shoe support, such as the α™ series digital interchangeable-lens cameras or vlog cameras, you can directly record the digital audio signal from the receiver. This guarantees high-fidelity sound recording with minimal noise pollution. Noise-Reduction Filters The ECM-W3 offers noise cut and low cut filters on the microphone side, employing advanced digital signal processing to effectively eliminate noise and reduce low-frequency noise. This results in a streamlined post-production process and enhanced workflow efficiency. Seamless Multi Interface (MI) Shoe Compatibility With the ECM-W3, attaching the receiver to a compatible Sony camera featuring the Multi Interface (MI) Shoe is a breeze, eliminating the need for cumbersome cables. This allows for immediate sound acquisition without obstructing the vari-angle LCD monitor, even when shooting horizontally, providing unparalleled freedom and mobility during your recordings. The Convenience of Wireless The ECM-W3 includes two microphone-transmitters and a dual-channel receiver, enabling wireless sound capture from two speakers. With an impressive communication range of up to 492 ft (150 m) in clear line-of-sight conditions, supported by Bluetooth 5.3 (Bluetooth Low Energy) and LC3plus3 codecs, you enjoy low power consumption, minimal latency, and outstanding sound quality. Additionally, power-saving measures result in a reduced battery size. Enhanced Safety and Attenuator Functions The safety function allows simultaneous recording of two audio signals, one at normal volume and the other at a 20 dB lower level, reducing the risk of audio distortion during loud recordings. An attenuator function is also provided, allowing you to fine-tune the recording level based on the audio volume. Versatile Microphone Audio Input/Output Both the microphone and receiver feature 3.5 mm mini jacks for audio input and output, providing compatibility with a wide range of recording equipment and accessories, including stereo-compatible lavalier microphones. Effortless USB Digital Audio Output The receiver allows you to effortlessly output digital audio at 48 kHz / 24 bit via a USB cable to a smartphone, PC, or any USB audio input compatible device for seamless recording. Compact and Lightweight Design The microphone-transmitters and receiver are designed with mobility and portability in mind. They are compact, lightweight, and engineered to be dust- and moisture-resistant, making them ideal for outdoor use. Informative Status Notifications Stay informed with the LINK lamp, which indicates the status of communication between the microphone and receiver, preventing recording errors. The POWER lamps on both devices display the battery level, ensuring that you never encounter recording interruptions due to depleted batteries. Convenient Battery Assist Function Power is conveniently supplied directly from compatible α™ series digital interchangeable-lens cameras or vlog cameras to the receiver, ensuring extended operation without hassle. Compact Charging Solution The package includes a small charging case, allowing you to keep recording without worrying about running out of battery power. The microphone-transmitter unit can operate continuously for approximately 6 hours on a full charge. Wind Screen for Outdoor Recording Don't let wind noise interfere with your outdoor recordings. The included wind screen reduces wind-related interference, ensuring stable and clear recording of the speaker's voice even in challenging outdoor conditions. Expanding Sony's Microphone Options With an expanded range of Sony microphones available, you have a wider selection to choose from, catering to various recording situations and applications.
