Sony 960GB CFexpress 4.0 Type A TOUGH Memory Card (VPG 400)

Built for Speed, Designed for Reliability The Sony CFexpress 4.0 Type A Memory Card is the next evolution in pro-grade performance—engineered to keep pace with the latest Sony cameras and the creators who push them to their limits. Whether you're capturing cinematic 4K120p footage or unleashing rapid-fire bursts of stills, these cards are designed to keep up without breaking a sweat. Available in high-capacity 960GB and 1920GB models, this powerful storage solution is built on the CFexpress 4.0 standard, delivering read speeds up to 1800 MB/s and write speeds up to 1700 MB/s. That means faster buffer clearing, lightning-fast file transfers, and more time creating, less time waiting. It’s the kind of performance that transforms your workflow—whether you’re in the studio or the middle of nowhere. Speed That Goes Beyond Numbers Speed isn't just about numbers—it's about keeping your creativity flowing. These cards offer sustained high-bandwidth performance backed by VPG400 certification, giving filmmakers and hybrid shooters the confidence to record high-bitrate video without dropped frames. From high-speed action sequences to time-sensitive client work, every moment is captured with total consistency. Built Like a Tank Sony’s TOUGH design is no gimmick—these memory cards are constructed to survive the elements. Engineered for 10x the bend resistance of the CFexpress 2.0 spec and 5x the drop impact, they’re built to endure extreme shoots in rugged environments. With IP57 dust and moisture protection, they’ll stand up to dusty trails, rainy shoots, and everything in between. Ready for the Next Generation Optimized for use with Sony’s optional MRW-G3 card reader, these CFexpress Type A cards take full advantage of USB 40Gbps throughput. Say goodbye to sluggish file transfers and hello to a workflow that flies. Whether you're managing massive raw files or archiving full-length productions, this system makes sure your time is spent creating—not waiting. Never Miss a Shot, Even in the Worst Conditions From the freezing cold to blazing heat, these cards are tested to perform in extreme temperatures, as well as withstand X-rays, UV exposure, and electrostatic discharge. And if the worst happens? Sony’s downloadable Memory Card File Rescue software can recover accidentally deleted or corrupted files—because peace of mind matters just as much as performance.
