The 83" table plus chairs on both sides and ends requires a minimum of 14' x 16' to move comfortably. For a dedicated outdoor dining room feel, 16' x 18' or larger is ideal. Can the Sonoma be used as a standard dining table when the fire isn't running? Yes. The burner recess can be left unfilled or covered depending on configuration. It functions as a full outdoor dining table at all times. How does the Sonoma compare to the Brugge or Oslo dining tables? The Brugge and Oslo are marble porcelain — more polished, interior-inspired. The Sonoma is GFRC concrete — more architectural and raw. The Sonoma is also significantly larger. If you're building a formal outdoor dining room and want maximum presence, the Sonoma is the table.
