Sonic Ergo+ 52 ASA Aerobar

Description Introducing the Sonic Ergo+ 52 ASA – the next evolution of our wildly popular Aero Shaped Carbon (ASC) extensions, now available in a sleek, high-performance aluminum.  Crafted with an advanced multi-stage forming process, the 52 ASA extensions brings the same arm-hugging benefits of our iconic shaped extensions, all at a more affordable price. Our Sonic bracket offers an extensive fit range, low weight and easy adjustment along with minimal frontal area. Combining this with the Ergo+ armrest creates an aerobar that will aid most riders in optimizing their position for both speed and comfort. The Ergo+ Armrest takes the shape of our popular Ergo armrest and lengthens it to 124mm to increase the contact surface for your arms, thus lowering the pressure on your skin even further. The 52 ASA is one of the newest versions of our reliable aluminum extension range. The core innovation behind both the ASC and ASA series is simple: shift the extension sideways to seamlessly align with your arm’s natural position, while keeping a 22.2mm mounting area to stay compatible with most standard aerobars. With the 52ASA, we’re setting a new standard for “best value shaped extension” – a bold step in our ongoing mission to deliver high-performance solutions for riders of all levels. Performance The Sonic/Ergo+ is designed to present minimal frontal area to create as little aerodynamic drag as possible. The main purpose of an aerobar is, of course, to get the rider into a fast position despite a fairly minimalist appearance the Sonic/Ergo+ offers a comprehensive fit range for exactly this purpose. The sole purpose of extensions is to provide a comfortable position for the riders hands relative to the armrests. They enhance performance by allowing the rider to relax into their optimal position.  Which is why we provide different fit options so each rider can chase their best performance. Fit Data Lastly we added ergonomic shaped end caps making the hand grip more comfortable. The extension length and rotation can be easily adjusted using the top bolt. There are 100 distinct position options achievable just by moving the armrests. Combine that with the risers and this bar offers 1500 possible configurations. As a clip on bar it is also possible to adjust the extension width and tilt easily. This is the most adjustable clip on bar on the market (and in history). Armrest Offset: -85mm to -17.5mm in 15mm steps Armrest Width: 124mm to 290mm in 18.5mm steps (With Extensions at 100mm) Armrest Stack: 58.5mm (no riser kit) to 138.5mm in 5mm increments (With aftermarket Riser Kit) There are 80 distinct position options achievable just by moving the armrests.  Combine that with risers and this bar offers 1440 possible configurations.  As a clip on bar it is also possible to adjust the extension width and tilt easily. Origin Recent Trends in aerobar fit have been towards higher hand positions, so we've increased the rise compared to previous generation extensions.  We have focused on the most popular angles from our previous range and added the 26a as a multi position option. Tech Guide Profile Design extensions have a 22.2mm diameter in the clamping area. They are designed for cables to be routed out the rear of the extensions so do not have cable exit holes. Who is it for? The extensions will fit in any aerobar that is designed for 22.2mm.  So can be used by any rider wishing to improve the comfort of their aerobar grips.
