Solstice Futon Couch Frame (Local Pick-Up Only)

The Solstice futon couch frame tells the story of the woodworkers' craft.  A design that is as satisfying as it is beautiful. Built with the finest plantation grown materials and constructed with traditional woodworking good sense, the Solstice is a piece of furniture that will last for years to come.  All futon frames come with a limited 3 year warranty. Night and Day Frames are made from Rubberwood (Parawood). Commonly known as the rubber tree or Para rubber tree, it is native to the Amazon Region of South America. Rubberwood produces the latex used in rubber-based products. After the economic life of the rubber tree, which is generally 26-30 years, the latex yields become extremely low and the planters then fell the rubber trees and plant new ones. So, unlike other woods that are cut down for the sole purpose of producing furniture, Rubberwood is used only after it completes its latex-producing cycle and dies. Rubberwood wood is eco-friendly since the wood would otherwise go to waste.
