The Solitude Sneaky Pete Beetle is an expertly tied, highly buoyant terrestrial dry fly that accurately mimics a large beetle or ant that has fallen into the water. This fly features a solid foam body for maximum flotation and is designed to land softly and float high, making it the perfect choice for sight-fishing to selective trout near banks and structure. It is an indispensable late-summer pattern, hitting the water with just the right amount of subtle "plop" to draw an aggressive strike.
