The Solitude RS-2 (Rim's Semblance 2) is a legendary, indispensable fly pattern designed by Rim Chung, primarily to imitate small mayfly or midge emergers struggling in the water column or surface film. Highly effective on technical tailwaters, this fly is known for its versatility and ability to consistently fool selective trout year-round when they are focused on tiny emerging insects. It is typically fished either just under the surface film or as a small nymph dropper to target rising or sub-surface feeding fish.
