Solitude Comparadun Baetis

The Solitude Comparadun Baetis is an exceptionally effective dry fly pattern specifically designed to imitate the tiny Baetis (Blue-Winged Olive) mayfly as an adult dun or low-riding emerger. Characterized by its split deer hair wing and lack of hackle, this design ensures the fly rides very low in the water's surface film, presenting a realistic silhouette to even the most selective trout. It is a critical fly for matching late morning or overcast-day Baetis hatches, often in sizes #18 to #22, requiring a drag-free and delicate presentation to rising fish.
