Solis Grind and Infuse Perfetta

Solis Grind & Infuse Perfetta The Grind & Infuse Perfetta from Solis is a semi-automatic espresso machine and grinder all in one. It’s packed with helpful features designed to allow even inexperienced home baristas to brew cafe-quality beverages from first unboxing. Winner of a 2022 Red Dot Design Award, the Grind & Infuse Perfetta from Solis is not only a fantastic first espresso machine—it just might be the last one you ever need. Features and Benefits Packed with features that are usually reserved for much more expensive machines, the Grind and Infuse Perfetta is a single product capable of transforming your home into a cafe—and you into a barista.  Ready to brew in just 45 seconds, the G&IP’s built-in zero static grinder uses 30mm conical burrs and has 25 stepped settings for dialing in your grind. The grinder operates rather quietly (71–72 decibels in our testing), and impresses with pillowy grounds delivered directly into your portafilter with minimal mess. Programmable grind times are easily adjustable for single- or double-shot extractions, anywhere between 2 and 30 seconds.  The PID-controlled boiler temperatures (which you can adjust in 1°C increments) and automatic pre-infusion on the G&IP mean you can brew some legitimately delicious espresso on this machine. And, once you’ve got your grinder dialed in, the programmable volumetric extraction times for single- and double-shots make preparing the perfect espresso as easy as pressing a button.  Given the price, the accessories that come with the Grind & Infuse Perfetta impress with their quality. The tamper is stainless steel and has a real heft to it, and the commercial-grade 54mm portafilter feels good in  your hand. What’s In The Box? Single and double shot 54mm portafilter baskets Stainless steel 54mm tamper 12 oz milk frothing jug—makes 1 latte or 2 cappuccinos BRITA water filter Measuring spoon, brush, cleaning needles, rubber backflush disc Why You Should Get It This machine is a perfect option for anyone who enjoys the experience of preparing espresso by hand, but also wouldn't mind a little help from programmed automation. It’s designed to turn even the most inexperienced home barista into a true coffee pro. And, at under 12” wide, you won’t have to choose between counter space and good coffee. Plus, the built-in grinder and quality tamper mean you won’t have to go shopping for extra accessories.  Overall, there’s a lot to love about the Solis Grind and Infuse Perfetta, especially when it comes to its design. In fact, the Red Dot Design Awards—which celebrate the most aesthetically appealing, functional, and innovative designs of the year—gave this machine a Product Design Award in 2022, a distinction shared by the iPhone, the Toyota Prius, and Ring cameras.  This accolade of course confirms that this machine “exudes premium quality,” though the jurors were particularly impressed with the “sophisticated user experience.”  We absolutely agree. The Grind and Infuse Perfetta from Solis is a compact, quality machine, perfect for the up-and-coming home barista looking to brew excellent espresso from the get-go.
