Solid Wood Hall Tree Bench Accessory Top

The "System Expansion" Strategy Your storage needs rarely stay the same. As families grow or life gets busier, a simple bench that once worked perfectly might suddenly need to do more. Usually, when you run out of room for coats and bags, you’re forced to either buy an entirely new piece of furniture or hire someone for a permanent custom wood job. We built the Solid Wood Hall Tree Upgrade Kit specifically for homeowners who already own a John Louis Home bench and just want to add more storage without starting over. After helping thousands of homeowners reclaim their space, we know that the best furniture is the kind that grows with you. This upgrade kit is the ultimate expression of our "Buy Once, Use Forever" philosophy. Instead of replacing your quality solid wood bench, you simply add this back section to get nearly 4 feet of extra storage space and six heavy-duty hooks. It is a durable and long-lasting way to get that affordable elegance look by building on the foundation you already have in your home. The Real-World Difference: Grow Your System: This isn't a "one-size-fits-all" add-on. It’s built to fit your current John Louis Home bench perfectly, so it looks like one seamless piece of furniture once it's installed. Reversible Back Panels: You have total control over the look. You can choose the "Modern Smooth" side for a clean feel or the "Classic Farmhouse" fluted side for a bit more texture. You can even flip the panels later if you decide to change your decor. Heavy-Duty Hanging: We include six industrial-grade hooks that anchor directly into the solid wood. These are built to handle the weight of real life—heavy winter parkas and loaded backpacks—without pulling loose or sagging. Extra Cubby Storage: The top tier gives you three extra spots for hats and gloves. We include three cream tweed bins to keep those smaller items tucked away and clutter free, but you can also leave the top open for a cleaner look. A Perfect Match: Because we use the same multi-coat, Low-VOC stains across our entire line, the upgrade will match your existing Espresso, White, or Red Mahogany bench exactly. Where This System Dominates: The Busy Foyer: Perfect for when you need to get the "coat pile" off the bench and onto hooks so people actually have a place to sit and put on their shoes. The Family Mudroom: Transform your seating bench into a full command center for school bags, umbrellas, and seasonal gear. What's Included: One Solid Wood Hall Tree Vertical Back with reversible panels, one detachable Solid Wood Storage Top, six brushed nickel metal hooks, three collapsible cream tweed bins, and all the heavy-duty hardware you need for a secure setup. The Trusted Advisor Tip: If you’re unsure which side of the reversible back panel to use, look at the other textures in your entryway. If your walls have a lot of trim or wainscoting, the "Modern Smooth" side can provide a nice visual balance. However, if your space feels a bit plain, the "Classic Fluted" side adds immediate architectural interest that makes the hall tree feel like a high-end, custom-built feature of the home.
