Solid Dish Soap in Second Life Vessel

Solid Dish Soap in Second Life Vessel This is one of my first two soaps that are aimed at more sustainable living and creating. I knew that there have been recipes-of-old that made solid soaps for dishwashing, but I had the impression that they were very much "of their time" and not really feasible with today's "better" options.  Better yet, I think they are absolutely stunning when poured directly into thrifted vessels! My preference is clear glass or porcelain. I love to give these kinds of containers a second life! Furthermore, once you are done with the soap, they are easy to clean and to be donated again if you wish, to give them yet a third life. Nothing better than that! This solid dish soap formula is designed to make sure that hard water spots after laboriously handwashing dishes are a thing of the past. The high percentage of coconut oil, when turned into soap, is a wonderful lathering and cleansing soap (versus other oils that have more gentle effects on skin). As a bonus, I only use organic coconut oil! The next ingredient in here is soy wax, which sounds odd to have a wax in soap that's supposed to be able to clean. This particular wax has an excellent complimentary combination of fatty acids to coconut oil's fatty acids that results in a wonderful, fluffy, highly cleansing soap. Exactly what we'd need to wash dishes! Due to this soap's high cleansing properties, using dish gloves to wash up is highly recommended. If you are looking for solid dish soap refills, I have solid dish soap refills that come in 3" round disks with 1" depth.  Fragrance Notes: Unscented Luxury Ingredients: Certified Organic Coconut Oil, Soy Wax This Solid Dish Soap is made with coconut oil, soy wax, citric acid, lye, and water. As always, every bar of our handmade soaps receives individual attention from design to creation to packaging. We hope you can feel the difference, and of course the love we put in. To help your soaps last longer, keep them in a dry and ventilated area between uses. This isn't a general warning - it really does help! All soaps from All The Way Handmade are small batch produced and made with saponified oils, fragrance oils, essential oils, skin safe micas, skin safe pigments, and other luxury ingredients. This means it uses all natural ingredients and the traditional way of making soap from scratch.  Weight varies by item due to volume capacity. Please check individual item names for their specific total weights. Shipping is determined by weight and is calculated at check out.   For any further questions, please send us an email using our Contact Us page or contact owner@allthewayhandmade.com.
