Solid Bronze Gate Stop for Contemporary Gate Latch

This solid bronze gate stop will stop the gate in the closed position. The installation of a gate stop prevents damage to your gate latch by stopping the gate before it hits the latch bars. Bronze latch bars will become weakened and eventually break if gates are allowed to slam against them. This stop matches our "Solid Bronze Contemporary" latches (Our SKUs 768520 & 768524) as well as our "Solid Bronze Hasp & Staple" (Our SKU 768523). These items can be found under related products. Bronze is an old world material and holds up very well in coastal and harsh environments and will not deteriorate. It is considered a living finish - it will gracefully age and change color over time.
