Use of this latch without a gate stop will cause the drop bar to break. Should you need a gate stop, there are two options for matching gate stops: A standard 1-3/4" gate stop (Our SKU 768521) An extended 3-1/4" gate stop which accommodates a larger gap between your gate and gate jamb (Our SKU 768522) See the Downloads tab for gate stop specs.
