Hoosier Solid Brass 3/8" Offset Hinge

Hinge mounts on face of the cabinet door and the face of the cabinet frame. Hinge is free swinging (non self-closing). Features 5-knuckle design for increased strength. Hoosier kitchen cabinets are freestanding and the precursors of our hanging kitchen cabinets. Hoosier cabinets were made primarily in Indiana (hence the name) by several companies, including The Hoosier Mfg. Co. of New Castle, Indiana, Sellers, McDougall, Napanee, Wilson, Boone, and others. Hoosier cabinets were popular in the early 20th Century when most homes did not have built-in kitchen cabinets.
