These solid brass hinges are clear coated to preserve the finish. Broad butt hinges are generally wider than they are tall. Designed to provide more surface area for attachment. Broad butt hinges are better suited for larger and thicker cabinet or furniture doors. The 1"x1" hinge has .020" leaf thickness. The 1-1/2"x1-1/4" and 2"x1-3/8" hinges have .040" leaf thickness. The 2-1/2"x1-3/4" hinge have .050" leaf thickness.
