Solid 925 Sterling Silver Demeter Pendant, Handcrafted Greek Goddess of the Harvest Sculpture, Ancient Mythology Jewelry

Demeter has been invoked under many titles and epithets, including potnia (the mistress), despoina (mistress of the household), thesmophoros (bringer of the law), sito (she of the grain), and chthonia (she of the earth). In Greek mythology, the Goddess Demeter presides over the harvest and agriculture, in charge of crops, grains, food, and the fertility of Earth. Also known as Deo, she has connections to the underworld and like her other siblings she was swallowed by her father as an infant and rescued by her brother, Zeus. This pendant mirrors the Pompeiian relief of Demeter in her aspects of mother goddess of argiculture. Handcrafted in solid sterling silver, this meticulously detailed pendant is made to last generations. Pair this pendant with one of our sterling silver chains and show your inner renegade!
