(SCRATCH & DENT) Universal Solar Pool Heater Panel Replacement - Highest Performing Design

Scratch & Dent Condition Notes: SolarPoolSupply adheres to an extremely strict standard of quality control. Any panel that does not meet these standards is sold as "Scratch & Dent". These are panels with minor/moderate scratching on the panel body or manifold from warehousing, packaging & transportation. Some are returns that did not pass our quality control inspections to be resold as new. These panels may have damage to a riser tube that will need to be repaired. We do include a free repair tool kit with each order. The repair process is easy and straightforward, and instructions are included with the repair kits. Our Scratch & Dent listings are likely the best value products of anything we carry. These are ONLY available while supplies last.  All Scratch & Dent condition items are sold as final and are not eligible for return. Please be sure you have selected the correct size before processing your order.   Product Details: SwimEasy solar panels provide the ultimate pool heating experience. SwimEasy utilizes today’s most advanced technology and panel designs to create the ultimate combination of performance and durability. SwimEasy captures more thermal heat from the sun with its superior absorber technology, while also enabling water to move more effectively through the collector by removing flow barriers with its over-molded header.   Simply put, more heat absorption from the sun and more water flowing through your heating system, means more heat transferred to your pool! SwimEasy’s specialized header design with improved flow characteristics also means the panels drain more effectively, providing a longer service life with less maintenance.  SwimEasy solar pool panels are the perfect choice for anyone looking to replace existing panels that use rubber hose connectors & metal hose clamps. SwimEasy is also the perfect choice for anyone wanting the best of both words - performance & durability - without needing to compromise one for the other. SwimEasy pool solar panels are manufactured in the USA from high-grade materials and utilize some of the most advanced methods and designs available, delivering a high-performance collector proven to last in all types of weather for 15-20 years!   CUTTING-EDGE DESIGN SwimEasy solar panels feature an upgraded mounting system, molded header for a solid, one-piece panel with virtually no manufacturing variances, better absorber plates for enhanced performance and durability, and an innovative flexible zip joint system across the absorber surface, improving durability and longevity.    UNIVERSAL MOUNTING SYSTEM SwimEasy is one of the only solar pool heating systems designed to be compliant with home construction codes. Traditional mounts fit snugly to the collector, allowing no flexibility for the collector to move as the material expands and contracts throughout the day. Collectors restricted by these mounts would bind at each anchor point causing additional and unnecessary stresses to the collector and roof penetrations, leading to increases in product failures. How Does SwimEasy Solve This? The Universal Mounting System! The roof mounts are specially engineered to be placed anywhere along the width of the header. This enables the mounts to be anchored directly into roof rafters, adding stability to the panel array. Secondly, the base of each mount cradles the header, lifting it slightly off the roof. The top secures snugly into the mount base, allowing the panel to be installed easily. This two-piece, “free floating” design permits your panels to expand and contract without causing stress to the panel, the anchor points, or your roof.      OVER-MOLDED HEADER SwimEasy consists of a solid, one-piece panel with virtually no manufacturing variances. SwimEasy uses today’s most advanced technology to create a single-piece, over-molded header. The header is the main conduit that carries your pool’s water to and from the absorber surface. Traditionally, headers are welded to the absorber. Welds tend to naturally weaken over time with the normal stress of expansion and contraction of day-to-day use. During the manufacturing of SwimEasy panels, raw material is forced into a mold. This material is under intense pressure and high heat as it flows into the mold, directly over the absorber. The result is a solid, one-piece panel with virtually no manufacturing variances. There is more to SwimEasy’s molded header than durability. It is your pool water’s expressway, and traffic jams are not allowed! Because the header is molded directly around the absorber tubes, there are no barriers, so water freely exits the header into each individual tube. Simple welding, or other manufacturing methods, can block the flow of water significantly at this point, which in turn reduces the amount of heat delivered to your pool. Flow restrictions also add back pressure to the pool’s entire filtration system and can reduce its overall life expectancy. Simply put – the more water that can flow through your heating system, the more heat that will be transferred to your pool.   FLEXIBLE ZIP JOINT SYSTEM Innovative zip joints allow for vertical expansion and contraction, increasing durability and reducing degradation. The illustration above details SwimEasy's flexible expansion joints, located every 6 inches across the absorber surface. These flexible zip joints allow for vertical expansion and contraction; critical for applications where a tree or other shadow-causing element, like chimneys or roof lines, may partially shade the collectors as the sun’s angle changes. Flexible joints eliminate stresses caused by natural temperature variances between panel sections by allowing the panels to move along the joint freely. Additionally, unlike traditional bonding methods – actual welding of the plastic that can pinch or puncture the absorber surface – there are no manufacturing variances with SwimEasy flexible joints!       HIGH-PERFORMANCE ABSORBER More heat absorption from the sun means more heat transferred to your pool. When engineering the absorber, a tube-on-fin design was created for its combination of performance and durability. Loose-tube absorber designs produce the least effective heating surfaces, and flat plate and welded tube designs don’t allow for expansion and contraction, leading to premature failure. Simply put, SwimEasy's tube-on-fin absorber design takes the best of previous designs and combines them, while omitting all their flaws. The fin, or webbing between each tube, along with the tube itself, collects the sun’s heat and efficiently transfers the heat to your pool water. The fin also enables the collector to flex, expand, and contract without putting pressure on the water-carrying tubes, while allowing the roof to “breathe”.   DESIGNED WITH YOU IN MIND 1. Perfect for Replacing Old or Damaged Panels SwimEasy solar panels are the perfect choice for replacing any solar pool heater panel that has a round 1.5” or 2" I.D. header (manifold - main pipe at the top and bottom of the panel) and makes connections with rubber hoses & metal hose clamps. *The header size is a measurement of the INTERNAL DIAMETER of the manifold. PLEASE VERIFY THIS SIZE BEFORE ORDERING.   2. Fast & Easy Setup SwimEasy connects with rubber couplings and metal hose clamps, by far the fastest & simplest method for attaching & securing a solar pool heating system.   3. Reliability & Longevity SwimEasy uses today's most advanced technology, optimized panel designs, and special U.V. stabilizers. SwimEasy panels are built to withstand the harsh conditions of your rooftop, in all types of weather, for years to come.   4. High-Heat Performance SwimEasy's tube-on-fin design was created for its combination of performance and durability. The fin, or webbing between each tube, along with the tube itself, collects the sun’s heat and efficiently transfers the heat to your pool water.         What If I Have Questions During My Install? HUGE DEALS ON DIY KITS -> (CLICK HERE) Each of our DIY Kits include everything you need to: Install the selected number of solar panels in a single row or "bank". Mount each solar panel to your preferred installation surface (roof or rack). Make water connections to and from each panel. Make water connections to the systems’ supply and return plumbing lines. Aid in automatic gravity drainage of the panels and piping. WHAT SIZE SYSTEM DO I NEED? The most relevant aspect of sizing a system is based on the square footage of your pool. We typically recommend matching anywhere from 50%-100% of your pools total surface area to solar collector coverage (solar panels). *For example, if your pool is 500 square feet, then 50% solar coverage equals 250 square feet of solar panels, 75% solar coverage equals 375 square feet of solar panels, etc. From this point, you'll want to look at selecting a panel size that fits your installation area.
