SOL Heavy Duty Emergency Blanket

The SOL Heavy Duty Emergency Blanket is a rugged, all-purpose emergency shelter built for the truck, the pack, or the bug-out kit. Made by Adventure Medical Kits under the Survive Outdoors Longer line, it swaps the flimsy foil of a typical survival blanket for a thicker, tougher fabric that doubles as a tarp, ground cloth, or gear cover when you need it to. Whether you’re stocking a vehicle emergency kit or adding backcountry insurance to a backpack, this blanket is built to survive more than a single use. Super Heatsheets fabric runs 2.5 mil thick, about two and a half times thicker than a standard mylar blanket, so it holds up to real handling instead of shredding the first time you unfold it Reflects 90% of your radiated body heat back at you, helping you warm up fast when conditions turn cold 100% wind and waterproof construction shields you from rain, snow, and wind rather than just cutting a light breeze Resists shredding if nicked or punctured, and rips can be patched, so one small tear doesn’t take the whole blanket out of service Quiet material won’t crinkle loudly in the wind the way a typical foil emergency blanket does Survival tips printed directly on the blanket give you quick reference info right when you need it Packs down to a pocket-sized package at only 7.9 oz, so there’s no excuse not to carry one Unfolds to a full 5 ft. x 8 ft., large enough to wrap around a person or rig into a small emergency shelter Material: Super Heatsheets vacuum-metalized fabric, 2.5 mil thick Size: 5 ft. x 8 ft. unfolded Weight: 7.9 oz. Color: Green Brand: SOL (Survive Outdoors Longer) by Adventure Medical Kits Keep it in your emergency prep kit, vehicle, or daypack alongside the rest of your survival gear — cheap insurance for the day you actually need it.
