Solitude Soft Hackle Thorax Bead

The Solitude Soft Hackle Thorax Bead is a highly versatile and deadly subsurface pattern designed to imitate emerging aquatic insects, particularly mayflies and caddis. Combining the rapid sink rate of a heavy tungsten bead with the life-like movement of a soft hackle collar, this fly offers an irresistible package to trout. The action of the soft hackle pulses realistically in the current, suggesting a vulnerable insect shedding its shuck, making this fly effective when fished both dead-drifted and swung across the current.
