The Solitude Soft Hackle PMD is an exceptionally versatile wet fly pattern designed to imitate the vulnerable Pale Morning Dun (PMD) mayfly as it emerges or drowns in the water column. Featuring a delicate, pulsating soft hackle collar, this fly suggests the movement and legs of the struggling insect, making it incredibly effective when swung, retrieved, or drifted in currents where trout are feeding just below the surface. This classic style is essential for matching the PMD hatch and is deadly when fished in teams of flies. Solitude, Soft Hackle, Emerger, PMD
