7750 Sniper III Split Vision Rework Station

High-Performance Convection Rework System The Sniper III uses a high-efficiency convection oven to deliver fast, uniform heating for both component removal and reflow. Uniform hot air flow: even heating across the target area Rapid thermal transfer: speeds up rework cycles Low thermal impact: protects surrounding components Controlled reflow: consistent, repeatable results This convection-driven approach ensures reliable, damage-free rework—even on sensitive and densely populated assemblies. Precision Vision Alignment & Automated Placement The Sniper III combines advanced optical alignment with automated placement for high-accuracy rework of fine-pitch and high-value components. Split-vision alignment: precise overlay of component and PCB Closed-loop energy control: stable, accurate reflow Vertical Placement Drive (VPD): controlled, repeatable placement Venturi vacuum pick-up: secure handling and release Designed for Micro BGAs, QFPs, CSPs, and large BGAs, this system ensures accurate alignment and consistent placement every cycle. DABIS Prism Alignment System The DABIS prism system provides high-precision alignment by superimposing the component’s contact array over the PCB land pattern. Under-component viewing: clear alignment of contacts to pads Enhanced clarity: improved visibility over traditional prism systems Micrometer adjustments: fine-tune lead alignment Wide component range: supports small to large devices Optional macro imaging expands capability for larger components, while VPD ensures precise, protected placement during final positioning. Rotary Vacuum Board Holder with Precision Adjustment The Sniper III features a vacuum-actuated board holder designed for stable positioning and precise alignment. Standard size: 12" × 16" (305 × 406 mm) Expandable capacity: up to 16" × 18" (406 × 457 mm) X/Y micrometer control: fine positioning adjustments Theta rotation: precise angular alignment This system ensures accurate setup for everything from micro components to large, high pin-count assemblies. Integrated Control System & Advanced Profiling The Sniper III combines onboard controls with advanced PC-based software for complete process management and optimization. Onboard PID control: automatic heater management GDW software: create, edit, and analyze profiles 4 thermocouple inputs: real-time multi-point monitoring Profile storage: up to 16 ramp & soak profiles onboard Automatic data logging and cycle completion controls reduce operator workload while ensuring consistent, repeatable results. Customizable Rework Configurations The Sniper III can be configured to match specific production requirements and workflows. Custom PCB holders: support oversized or specialty boards Flexible heater options: adapt to unique processes Application-specific setups: tailored to your workflow This flexibility ensures the system meets current needs while adapting to future production demands.
