"Legendary Underground Comic Book Smut 1968-1969." A complete collection of the early and absolutely filthy underground Snatch Comics #1-3. The creators Robert Crumb, Robert Williams, S. Clay Wilson, Spain, Jay Lynch, Rory Hayes, Victor Moscoso, Rick Griffin, and James Osborne, all used pseudonyms (R. Crust, Crank Collingwood, Rawbut Weeyums, etc.) when these pieces were published in 1968 and 1969 to avoid prosecution on obscenity laws. This is some of the strongest stuff ever seen in comix and not for the weak of heart! Dan Fogel and Patrick Rosenkranz contribute essays on the story behind the comic and its historical context. All the artwork is identified, and the original front and back covers by Crumb are reproduced in color. A significant portion of the proceeds of this book goes to the S. Clay Wilson Special Needs Trust.
