Snares - Open Water

All new to our open water line up is the addition of a long awaited SNARE! The snare rod utilizes our same world class proprietary Toray carbon fibers material in the blank build. The unique taper and special blend of materials achieves the perfectly balanced and engineered design for running live bait rigs with bottom bouncers or slip sinkers. This rod is also ideal for long line trolling crank baits and spinner rigs with or without snap weights. This technique specific design allows the fish to grab the bait with plenty of cushion and time for the ultra-soft tip to load up “snaring” the fish with little to no motion from the angler. The result is a far superior hook up and landing percentage.   Specs: Length: 9’2 Telescoping (reduces to 7’10 for storage) | 8′ Telescoping (reduces to 6’3″ for storage) Power: Medium Power Action: Mod-fast action Guides: SeaGuide Hero High Grade with Silicon Nitride Insert Line/Lure weight: 8-14 lb., 1/4 – 1.5oz bottom bouncers Handle: SeaGuide (Casting or Spinning) Hero High Grade Alien reel seat with Carbon Insert Blank: JT Proprietary Toray carbon fibers spun with zonal technology The additional components of this rod include a state of the art Hero High Grade Alien reel seat coupled with a carbon fiber insert that makes direct contact with the blank for added sensitivity and feel transfer.
