SNAKE HOOPS

SHEDDING OF THE SKIN TRANSFORMATION | DEATH + REBIRTH - The snake; the healer; the mystic; Shatki, life force energy; Isis; feminine tantric energy that lies coiled at the base of the spine; the embodiment of the cycle: death, rebirth, transformation. Emerging from the depths of the earth, the darkness of our psyche, the underworld realm of the dead, the snake enters our mythologies as a cosmic creator, progenitor, destroyer and sacred being. The raised head of the snake mirrors the erect phallus of the human; a sacred encounter with the elemental spirit of the serpent, an evocation of sexuality, fertility, and potency, is to meet with the energy of primordial life force. The snake sees through lidless eyes covered by a transparent scale - when the snake withdraws to shed its skin, the eye scale becomes milky, taking on an ethereal cast as though the serpent is entering a meditative state and has access to wisdom beyond our knowing. The shedding of the skin is a symbol of the death and rebirth cycle inherit in our human identity and a journey one must embark upon if we seek to evolve with the ever constant nature of the universe; change. The Snake Hoop is an amulet for the transformational process of allowing yourself to evolve into a deeper embodiment of your truth; to burn away what no longer serves; to step into the uncomfortable unknown with trust that the truth of your knowing will carry you.   -  14K | 18K | DIAMOND EYES - hand carved + cast 14 or 18 karat royal yellow gold cognac diamond accents height 20mm, width 18mm 14 KARAT PAIR READY TO SHIP - Want to customize yours?
