Transition Smuggler Carbon Eagle 90

A 130mm carbon trail bike for riders who want one quiver-killer for everything between the climb and the chunk, the Transition Smuggler Carbon Eagle 90 from Transition Bikes runs 29-inch wheels, a RockShox Pike Select+ fork with 140mm of travel on 35mm stanchions, and a RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ shock sized 210x50mm out back. Carbon front and rear triangles get molded chainstay, seatstay, and lower down tube protection so the frame survives the rocks the suspension cannot soak up. Drivetrain is SRAM's mid-tier Eagle 90 Transmission with a GX Eagle derailleur, MMX shifter, and 10-52t cassette, paired with an FSA No.42/48 crankset on an ACB bottom bracket. SRAM Motive Bronze brakes do the slowing, DT Swiss M 1900 Spline 30 wheels with DT 370 Ratchet hubs and Champion rims handle the rolling, and Maxxis runs an Assegai EXO+ 2.5 up front with a Dissector 3C EXO+ 2.4 in back, exactly the tread split you want on a do-it-all trail rig. The OneUp dropper scales from 150mm on SM to 240mm on XXL, and the Smuggler Carbon Eagle 90 sits as the mid-tier carbon build in the Smuggler lineup, slotting above the alloy and below the higher-spec carbon builds.
