Smoky PeakBlend

Smoky PeakBlend combines annual ryegrass, hairy vetch, and white clover into a cool season blend that delivers across most cover crop objectives at the highest levels. But what sets the Smoky apart is where it thrives — in the shade. All three species in this blend carry good to excellent shade tolerance, making the Smoky the go-to choice for producers who aerial apply cover crops into standing soybean fields. Getting a cover crop to survive and establish under the canopy of a cash crop is one of the real challenges of aerial application. The Smoky was built specifically to meet that challenge — giving you improved stand and growth even in low-light conditions. Note: Hairy vetch in this mix may be coated or uncoated based on availability.
