Smokey Mountain Blues Hosta

Hosta ‘Smokey Mountain Blues’ is a truly massive hosta that lives up to its name, forming a giant, smoky blue clump that makes a dramatic centerpiece in any garden. A cross of ‘Empress Wu’ × ‘Powder Blue’ from Clarence Hanna, this impressive hosta features huge, waxy blue leaves with heavy corrugation that create a mountain-like appearance. Despite its enormous mature size, it has shown excellent growth in the nursery. In summer, tall scapes display soft lavender flowers, adding a beautiful finishing touch to this exceptional giant hosta.
