Smoke On Lyons Studios Limited Edition Aviation Print

Before you ask, Sam Lyons' Smoke On is not some sort of propaganda put out by the tobacco industry to push its products. Instead, the 18" x 22½" illustration promotes another type of stimulant entirely: Aerobatic-induced adrenaline. And, for those of you who have seen airshow icon Sean D. Tucker in action, that's exactly what you get whenever he straps into his trademark Oracle Challenger III exhibition biplane. This exhilarating image showcases the scarlet high-performance taildragger streaking along mere feet above a runway, a stream of airshow smoke trailing immediately behind. Anyone familiar with Tucker's go-to airplane will marvel at Lyons' spot-on rendering of all its sleek lines. Although the picture's profile view doesn't afford observers an unobstructed glimpse at the aircraft's eight ailerons, rest assured the artist has taken them into account. Additionally, the background greenery and brilliant azure sky further augment the drawing's invigorating appeal. This image is available as both an Artist Proof (limited to 10) and a signed & numbered Limited Edition print (limited to 50). Both versions are printed on acid-free paper, utilize first-rate permanent inks, and include a Certificate of Authenticity. A fantastic depiction of pulse-pounding plane performance that's sure to excite anyone with an affection for aviation acceleration.
