SMITH Transit Jr. Mips® Helmet

School Commutes and Neighborhood Rides, Covered The Smith Transit Jr. Mips helmet pairs lightweight ventilation with advanced impact protection for kids riding to school or around the neighborhood. Sixteen fixed vents and the AirEvac ventilation system keep airflow steady and prevent lens fogging, so visibility stays clear whether your rider is pedaling in sun or shade. A dedicated mount accepts Smith's rechargeable Transit Light (sold separately) for any-time-of-day visibility, and the helmet comes ready to ride with a drawstring helmet bag for storage and transport. Mips Safety System technology reduces rotational forces from angled impacts, while lightweight in-mold construction fuses the shell and foam into a single piece that feels barely-there on the head. The dial-adjustable fit system grows with your child, and comes in two sizes to accommodate kids from ages 4 to 12, so you get multiple seasons of use before needing a replacement.
