Smith & Nephew Allevyn Gentle Border Lite Silicone Foam Dressing, Sterile, Adhesive, 5.5cm x 12cm

Smith & Nephew Allevyn Gentle Border Lite Silicone Foam Dressing, 5.5cm x 12cmThe Allevyn Gentle Border Lite silicone foam dressing is a thin, flexible wound care solution designed for patients with fragile or sensitive skin. Measuring 5.5cm x 12cm (2-1/8 x 4-3/4 inch), this sterile rectangular dressing features a soft silicone gel adhesive border and a durable film backing that work together to protect the wound bed while promoting an ideal healing environment. Built with an advanced foam core, this dressing conforms easily to curved or difficult-to-dress areas of the body without losing its structural integrity. The foam absorbs excess wound exudate while maintaining a moist environment that supports faster healing, making it a reliable choice for a wide range of low to moderately exuding wounds. The showerproof silicone adhesive keeps the dressing securely in place even when exposed to moisture, yet allows for gentle, repositionable application that minimizes trauma to surrounding skin during removal. Its film backing also forms a bacterial barrier, helping to reduce the risk of infection throughout the wear period. With the ability to stay in place for up to one week, the Allevyn Gentle Border Lite dressing reduces the frequency of dressing changes, offering both comfort and convenience for patients and caregivers alike.
