SmartEquine Poly Copper Powder

Copper Polysaccharide Complex Supplement. Poly Copper Powder provides bioavailable, polysaccharide-coated copper only to allow for quick and easy diet balancing. While there are a variety of important trace minerals needed for your horses diet, copper is commonly deficient due to it being low in some forages or from copper antagonists that deplete the body of copper, such as too much sulfate in drinking water or high iron intake. Copper plays an important role in coat and skin pigmentation, hoof health, metabolic processes, bone formation, soft tissue elasticity, and storage of other key minerals. To maximize bioavailability and its effect, the copper in Poly Copper Powder is partnered with polysaccharides to help protect the key minerals until they reach the digestive site where they can be most effectively absorbed and utilized.Features: Ideal for diets deficient in copper or high in copper antagonists, such as sulfate in drinking water or high iron intake Partnered with polysaccharides to help protect the key minerals until they reach the digestive site where they can be most effectively absorbed and utilizedIngredients: Copper Polysaccharide Complex, Dried Kelp Feeding Directions: Feed at the rate of 2.5 g (approximately 1 scoop) daily or as directed by your veterinarian or nutritionist. 1 scoop or 2.5 gram = approximately 1/2 teaspoon Size:  10 lb
